This is a great transition into purpose from the last blog I wrote. If you haven't read Hybrid Manual Issue 1, that is ok. These blog post are just as good because I am giving you the real life accounts of how I put together each section in the magazine. The story continues and starts here with myself moving to Atlanta, GA. I was 25 years old and rented an apartment with my ex-girlfriend. I was pursuing music full-time and my career part-time. My goal was to be known in the Atlanta music scene. Kidd's dad called me to let me know Kidd was out of jail and needed somewhere to stay. I told him to come stay with me and we spent the beginning of the summer catching up. It was during these conversations that I really learned about purpose.

The summer was filled with intense feelings from everyone around me. At first, Kidd and my ex did not get along. Honestly, her and I were going through our own relationship issues. I worked and felt myself slipping into a feeling of despair because I couldn't really pursue my dreams. We fought mostly about the outcomes of that which resulted in financial hardships. We we're young and my communication was terrible. Kidd and I talked about solutions over a fat blunt many nights that summer. I became obsessed with knowledge to fill a void and found my purpose.

Purpose

Finally, I came into the flow state. The flow state is where you begin to leave it all to God and prepare for opportunities. I did not see taking excessive action a viable solution. Kidd and I did so much and met so many people that my original goal was completed. Somehow, it did not translate into financial gain. I was losing everything around me and I let go. I knew I had to finish the project I had started when I moved into my apartment. I used everything I had to finish "Depressed in The Foreign 666" . I wouldn't see the fruits of my labor until 3 years later.

I was seeing a vision with no support and had to prove it to myself that I could bring it to fruition.

It had been a couple months since Kidd moved in and we were inseparable. It was just me and him in the apartment for a while. My ex just disappeared and was gone for a few weeks. I was so heartbroken and was doing a terrible job coping. I was feeling lost that I started to consult the only spiritual solace in the Neter, Shu. I would have sticky notes all over the apartment that said "Protected by Shu". Kidd started calling me Shu and begin teaching me the Keys. If I went to Shu for my problems I had to be Shu for myself. The first Key is spiritual work and it helped me connect with myself more. I took my power back and continued on my project.

3 Wands

I have compiled several videos and started a lifestyle magazine called, "Hybrid Manual" to share my experiences. I coach and mentor entrepreneurs everyday and share my expertise with them. I want to nurture the leaders of tomorrow and offer many resources. I thank you for joining me on this journey and may you learn.
